It also has benefits for mental health care and mindfulness. Furthermore, it's suitable for apartments and requires no renovations. It's made from Aichi wood, the same wood used by Oda Nobunaga. The tea room is said to have been popularized by Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Sen no Rikyu during the Sengoku period. In contrast to the brutal world where even family members were enemies and constantly fighting, the tea room and tea ceremony existed as a quiet and peaceful space.
